They have done it with Karl Lagerfeld, Stella McCartney, Madonna, Viktor and Rolf and Kylie Minogue. Now, they are at it again! With Matthew Williamson!

On April 23, H&M will be launching a new collection designed by British Designer Matthew Williamson. Here is a sneak peek of this much-anticipated collection:

Firstly, who is Matthew Williamson? The British designer, who started off at Marni and Monsoon Accessorize, launched his line in 1997 and count Sienna Miller, Keira Knightley, Kate Hudson, Mischa Barton and many others as his clients! This is not the first time Williamson has collaborated with another brand. He has previously worked with Samonsite luggage, Smythson stationery and Debenhams.

Now, back to the upcoming collection at H&M. Bold patterns, bright colours and interesting details – indeed very different from the usual H&M fare. While the pricing is much higher than the usual H&M merchandise, it is considered a steal as compared to his line at Net-a-porter!

Looks like there is going to be another sell-out at H&M in this Spring. Miss Glitzy wonders if H&M is coming to Singapore after all. There was some tingling a while back when rumours had it that the Swedish brand would be landing in Singapore at ION Orchard but this news was never verified. Miss Glitzy also wonders if there would be a new collaboration when H&M really opens in Singapore – just like Kylie Minogue for Shanghai and Comme des Garçons for Tokyo!
