It was a showcase of the Spring and Fall 2010 collection, fronted by Singaporean model Sheila Sim and Korean model Song Kyunga. For the lack of better word, the gowns were simply beautiful.

Sheila Sim looking gorgeous in the violet origami gown from the Spring 2010 collection.

More dream-like gowns complete with drapes and embellishments.

Wedding gown inspirations.

On the left, Georgina Chapman was apparently inspired by Madame Butterfly when she designed this black gown with violet embroidery (Spring 2010). On the right, the chiffon looks airy-fairy but the design exudes grunge (Fall 2010).

Sheila Sim and Song Kyunga closed the show.

If you are feeling rich, Marchesa is available at Tribeca.

And I assure you that I was trying to capture the gown when I took this picture:

(Fourth row, top left): Dawn Yang

  1. Loving the dresses, but I must say I’m not really impressed with the hair and makeup – looks bit harsh.
