This is a special tote.

1. It’s cute.

2. It’s unique. And checks meet stripes can be kinda cool.

3. It’s an eco-friendly tote!

DANG! I’m sure I got you at the eco-friendly bit. The leather stripe is recycled from leather couch and the “clothes” are from vintage suits. With an ingenious idea and some reinvention, Korean non profit design shop Eco Party Mearry created a range of one-of-its-kind totes and these lovelies are now retailing at US-based online shop Poketo.

Each tote costs US$250 but there is only one piece per design, and these bags are handmade. I heard they can fit an iPad too!

Eco Party Mearry also came up with other variations of eco-friendly totes – and these colourful bags are made from…

STREET BANNERS.

These bubble bags are recycled from street banners too.

Simply love how eco-friendly bags has been brought to a new level! It’s time to gather some ex-boyfriend’s shirts and blazers and what-nots and DIY these cool totes!
