As I went giddy following the runway looks on New York Fashion Week (NYFW), what really captivated me was the simplest design or that little touch that highlights the womanly figure. The Fall/Winter season is when temperature starts dipping and everyone gets big on the outerwear. So in my humble opinion, the drapey and smooth dresses could be a pleasant contrast to the thick and often sturdy outerwear.

And one of my favourites is the Vera Wang show. The series is a little downcast with monochromes, yet dreamy and mysterious with the use of organaza and silk. The designer worked black very well and made the shade very dimensional with the clever use of textures.

The collection is timeless, retaining a dash of uniqueness and fun. Me likey.
