The Shack at Tanjong Beach, Sentosa

Miss Glitzy and Miss Chubby headed to The Shack yesterday hoping to enjoy the sun, sand and sea. The Shack is the temporary replacement beach bar set up at Tanjong Beach after KM8 closed in March. The owner of White Rabbit now owns the old KM8 site and apparently the Singaporean version of Ku De Ta will take Tanjong Beach by storm in January next year.

The photo gallery of the glamourous launch of The Shack turned out to be kinda misleading. Don’t expect it to be as huge as KM8 because the area it occupies is actually kinda small. There were a few platforms that serve as deck chairs, and a small bar counter that serves drinks. The food menu is not up and running yet so The Shack only serve drinks for now. The platforms are new and very clean – thank goodness!

Miss Glitzy brought her Polaroid camera along – it was loaded with expired Polaroid film and the photos were extremely vintage yellowish:

Really miss KM8 and the delicious pizzas. Where is the next best beach that is private and non-poserish?

    • Thanks for visiting! I think Bali is a great place for weddings!

  3. Love expired polaroids! the treatment is great without actually having to try and tweak it! Kudeta? Gosh, so its gonna be really expensive? I hope it will be affordable tho.. Thanks for sharing .. Gonna check out the shack! 🙂

    • The sit-down dinner is expensive. But you can just go there for a drink to enjoy the ambience. 🙂
